A precise mold is made from polystyrene, MDF or block material. If necessary, a laminate of plastic fibers and epoxy resin is applied before the mold is coated with epoxy paste. After hardening, this paste is milled to the nearest tenth of a millimeter according to the specified geometry, giving the product its final shape. Durable master models are given a steel base and a carrier layer made of an epoxy sandwich laminate, to which the paste is then applied.
